Singapore Travel Info: Complete Singapore Tourist Visa Information

To enter Singapore, travelers must have to hold a Valid Singapore Tourist Visa to enjoy recreation activities, tourism purposes, or any other non-working activities( applicable to Visa require Country). SG Arrival Card vs White Card vs Disembarkation/ Embarkation (DE) Card

How to Submit the SG Arrival Card?

SG Arrival card is the E-service facilitated by Singapore’s ICA. Travelers traveling to Singapore mandatorily have to submit the SG arrival Card before arriving in Singapore. The ICA has launched a mobile app named the “SG Arrival Card”. Travelers traveling to Singapore can submit the SG arrival Card through the app.

What is the validity of the SG Arrival Card?

The validity of the SG Arrival Card submission is 14 days. Be sure to submit not earlier than 14 days to your Singapore travel/ checkpoints approaching date.

Can I submit the SG Arrival Card at the Checkpoints in Singapore?

Yes, Of course! Travelers can also submit the White Card or newly proposed SG Arrival Card at the Singapore Check Points. Before posing toward Immigration, you can fill up the SG Arrival Card at the Singapore Check Points. Despite the availability, we suggest filling in early(at least 3 days before) and not in Check Points. It will cause a long waiting and queue as well. Other than any problems in using E-Service, it is better to fill early.

Singapore Visit Visa

A Valid Visa is required for entry in Singapore. There is no Facility of Visa On arrival but with Singapore Arrival Card, the travelers can stay up to 30 days of a single entry from Countries except for Assessment I and Assessment II. However, the Citizens of countries; All European Union citizens, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States are staying without a visa in Singapore for up to 90 days. Stay permission to the British Passport holder without proof of abode in the United Kingdom are shortened to 30 days.

The holder of the passport issued by the following country’s Governance must have to obtain a Singapore Entry Visa to enter Singapore from any Singapore Diplomatic Mission Abroad.

Singapore Entry Visa Fee

To Proceed with Singapore Entry Visa, the applicants have to pay S$30. The fee is subject to non-refundable whatever the visa processing comes up. The fee is not refundable neither in visa issue nor in rejection.
The travelers can also extend the short term Visit Pass with the fee of S$40.

What is Singapore E-Visa?

Singapore E-visa is the facility that the Singapore Government or the Foreign Diplomatic Mission or Consulate provides the facility to provide the Singapore entry visa to the citizen of the respective location of the establishment. the citizens of the Assessment Level I Countries and document holders are eligible to apply E-Visa from the respective Singapore Diplomatic Mission or Consulate.

Immigration Pass

Valid Singapore Entry Visa single not sufficient to enter Singapore. Travelers have to get the Immigration pass from any Check Points to Singapore. The ICA will grant you the Immigration Pass after you arrive in Singapore.

The requirement for Immigration Pass

  • Valid Passport having at least six months of validity
  • Sufficient fund for the expense in Singapore
  • A submitted SG Arrival Card
  • A Valid Singapore Visa(Can obtain at check Points except for the above-mentioned national who required to obtain a visa before arriving in Singapore)
  • A confirmed onward/return ticket( Applicable to a few Nationals)

Visa-Free Transit Facility(VFTF)

Visa-Free Transit Facility is a 96 hours valid Visa. It is a temporary visa-free Entry pass to indulge around Singapore. Eligible travelers who are transiting through Singapore with a transit period of more than 5.5 hours can enter Singapore for a period of up to 96 hours and go up to two destinations as the travel packages.

Eligible Countries to get Visa-Free Transit Facility

  • Nationals of Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS)
  • India
  • The People’s Republic of China(PRC)
  • Turkmenistan
  • and, Ukraine

Transiting Travelers satisfying the Criteria for VFTF have to meet the prevailing entry requirements before allowed to enter Singapore. Assessment for entry is determined by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority(ICA) officers.
No Extention of VFTF is allowed. It is non-extendable.

Criteria for Nationals of India And People’s Republic of China(PRC)

  • Travelers of the respective country may enter Singapore through any modes of transportation but must have to depart either through Air or Sea. Must have to present the valid onward air/ferry/cruise ticket of depart within 96 hours.
  • Must be a holder of a Valid Visa(Long-term Pass) with a validity for at least one month at the date of Singapore entry issued by the following countries
    • Australia
    • Canada
    • Germany
    • Japan
    • New Zealand
    • Switzerland
    • United Kingdom
    • United States of America

*A Valid Visa mention in previous requirements is considered valid so long as it is good for entry into one of the above-mentioned countries. Travelers with a Single entry Visa/ Single Journey Visa issued by one of the above-mentioned nations may also be granted VFTF on the return leg of their journey but you must have travel directly to Singapore from the SJV provider and not have returned home country sine the use of the of SJV.
*In the context of Visa Issued by Germany and Switzerland or Shengen Visa that is good for entry to Germany or Switzerland.

Criteria for Nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine

  • The Travelers of the respective country traveling from any third country having more than 5.5 hours of transit may eligible for VFTF if the travelers have a valid Ticket of flight to depart from Singapore within 96 hours. The travelers may enter by any means of transportation but have must return by Air.

Visa Requirement for Non-ordinary Passport

Holder of the non-ordinary passport; diplomatic and official/service passport of the Countries not required to obtain Visa (Countries not mentioned in Assessment Level I and Assessment Level II) for Singapore Entry is eligible to Visa-Free Facility. The Non-ordinary passport holder of the following countries from Assessment Level I and II are eligible for Free Visa Facility.
