As someone who had never carved wood before, I found the introductory workshop in Kathmandu Durbar Square perfectly paced. The instructors were knowledgeable and very encouraging. They ensured everyone understood the basic techniques and the historical significance of the designs we were carving. It was not only educational but also a lot of fun!
